At least 12 failed asylum-seekers, who were deported from Germany, landed in the Afghan capital of Kabul, on Wednesday, one day after their deportation. The move came despite some 180 human rights activists protested the decision at Dusseldorf airport.
The deportation is the first of its kind for over three months after a truck bombing killed 150 people outside the German embassy in Kabul in late May.
