At least 387 people have died and roughly 4,000 others have been injured in a 7.3 magnitude earthquake that struck on the Iraq-Iran border, near the Iraqi town of Halabja, at 9:18pm local time on December 12.
The disaster caused widespread damage in both countries, with tens of thousands forced from their homes.
