A stampede broke out after shots were fired at the Toronto Raptors victory parade on Monday.
Footage shows police trying to calm the panicked crowd in Nathan Phillips Square, as many people try to flee to safety through side streets or over walls.
Once the frenzy is over, strewn items litter the floor and locals can be seen calling loved ones.
Two people were hurt in the incident, although the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Toronto police said that two suspects were arrested and investigations were ongoing. No motive has been established so far.
The shots only briefly interrupted victory speeches at the parade’s final destination.
An estimated two million people, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, were on the streets of Toronto to celebrate the Raptors NBA Finals win.
