The Croatian national team held their last practice session in Rijeka on Thursday, ahead of their UEFA Nations League match against England on Friday.
Coming off a 6-0 defeat against Spain, captain Luka Modric said the squad was hoping to “fix the impression from the last match.”
Commenting on alleged bad blood between both squads, manager Zlatko Dalic downplayed that view, saying that there was nothing but respect between the players and staff of the two sides.
Croatia will host England behind closed doors at the HNK Rijeka Stadium in Rijeka on October 12. Kick off time is scheduled at 20:45h local time.
