Greece: MPs approve third bailout deal, Tsipras faces biggest rebellion yet

The Greek parliament voted in favour of a third bailout agreement with the country’s creditors following a full night of lengthy debates in Athens, Friday. The deal includes tax rises and spending cuts in exchange for €85 billion ($95 billion) in fresh loans. A majority of 222 MPs voted ‘Yes’ to the third package of reforms, 64 voted ‘No’, while 11 MPs abstained.
