Greece plans to transfer some 20,000 asylum seekers from the Aegean islands to the mainland over the coming weeks. Most are currently at the overcrowded Moria refugee camp on the island of Lesbos. The site has previously been deemed the ‘worst refugee camp on Earth’ by the charity MSF.
