India’s wildlife struggles to survive heavy monsoon rains

Dozens of people have been killed and more than five million affected by monsoon rains and flooding in northeast India. Animals are also at risk.
In India’s Kaziranga National Park – home to the largest population of the protected one-horned Indian rhino – many animals have died.
