Iran: Severe flooding hits north-western provinces leaving 11 dead

Severe flooding throughout north-western Iran has reportedly left 11 dead and two missing, as well as causing severe damage to infrastructure, as seen in footage filmed on Saturday.

The provinces most affected were Khorasan Razavi (eight killed), Golestan (two killed) and North Khorasan (one killed) as well as Gilan and Semnan.

Relief workers and more than 300 aid workers are reportedly deployed across 21 cities and villages assisting victims and searching for those believed to be missing.
