Residents of Jordan’s capital Amman reacted to Netflix’s first Arabic original series, after viewers accused it of presenting the kingdom in an immoral light.
Authorities in the country have threatened to stop the broadcast of the show and take legal measures against those responsible for “insulting Jordanian society” and “violating public morals.”
Some members of the public are in agreement, while others defended the show and praised Netflix for tackling taboo topics.
