The Russian carrier Soyuz-FG alongside the Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft was installed on a launch platform in Baikonur on Thursday, with visitors all over the world coming to witness the event.
“I feel fantastic. It used to be my lifelong dream. I graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a degree in rocket science. This is my favourite rocket, I’ve always dreamt about coming here,” one visitor said.
The launch is scheduled on 20 July with one cosmonaut from Russia and two from the USA and Italy – Alexander Skvortsov, Andrew Morgan, Luca Parmitano respectively – who are supposed to carry out some experiments on board of the International Space Station.
