The UK House of Commons convenes on Monday, April 15, for the first time since the US-led airstrikes on Syria on Saturday. Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to speak.

The US, UK and France launched airstrikes against multiple government targets in Damascus early on Saturday morning, targeting alleged chemical weapons sites, as well as a Syrian military site in Homs. The airstrikes are a response to a claim of an alleged chemical weapons attack on Douma earlier this month. Syria and Russia have both denied the allegations, calling them ‘staged’ and a ‘fabrication.’
