The buzzing Grand Bazaar in Istanbul reopens to the public on Monday, June 1, as the restrictions put in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic are gradually lifted.
The iconic market, which is usually packed with both tourists and locals, has been closed since March 23.
Turkey has been gradually easing the coronavirus restrictions over the last several weeks. Earlier, on Friday, prayers were allowed to take place again in Istanbul.
