Ruptly is live from Hong Kong on Sunday, July 21, as anti-extradition bill demonstrators flood the streets for a fresh protest.

The protests, among the largest in Hong Kong’s history, have seen hundreds of thousands gather in the streets since the end of March, against an extradition bill which would allow people to be extradited to the mainland China to face trial.

Although the bill has since been suspended, the largely youth-led protests have continued with protesters calling for it to be withdrawn entirely and for Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam to resign.”
