Thousands are expected to hit the streets of Paris as part of a strike against climate change on Friday, March 15.
A movement amongst students, as well as some teachers and parents, has been spreading throughout the world since last December following the steps of 16-year-old Swedish student and activist Greta Thunberg, who is engaged in halting global warming and climate change.
On February, Thunberg had already travelled to Paris and joined hundreds of students in their fight for the environment. The activist has since made a global call for students around the world to unite on March 15. Almost 500 events across 51 countries are registered on the “Fridays for Future” website and are expected to take place.
