RIA Novosti Ukraine Editor-in-Chief Kirill Vyshinsky appears at Kiev’s Podolsky District Court for hearing on Friday, July 19.
Russian Commissioner for human rights Tatiana Moskalkova appealed to the court on July 15 to consider releasing the journalist from custody.
Vyshinsky has been held under arrest since May 15, 2018 on suspicion of treason, which carries a prison sentence of up to 15 years.
