In the next few hours Morocco will kick off against Mauritania to get the fifth edition of the African Nations Championship underway in Casablanca.
It’s the biggest tournament on the continent for home-grown talent.
Morocco’s football fortunes are on the rise after qualifying for this year’s World Cup.
Close to 45,000 spectators will be at the renovated Stade Mohammed V.
The country is hoping that this tournament will be a stepping stone to bigger things in the future.
