Ajax midfielder Dusan Tadic spoke at a press conference in Amsterdam on Tuesday, ahead of their UEFA Europa League game against Real Madrid.
“We are not in so good moment, but this is football, sometimes you need to lose. It is difficult to accept for us also, but tomorrow is our next game and we need to show ourselves in this great moment that we need to stand up when it’s most difficult,” he commented.
Ajax players were also seen training ahead of Tuesday’s match.
Ajax and Real Madrid are set to face off for the first leg clash of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, 13 February, at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
