A notorious gang in 1919 Birmingham, England, is led by the fierce Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy), a crime boss set on moving up in the world no matter the cost. In Series 5 of Peaky Blinders, Tommy Shelby begins his new role as a Member of Parliament.

The highly anticipated new series is expected to air later this year on BBC One. The drama has received universal acclaim, including for Series 4 the BAFTA award for Best Drama Series.

Birmingham teacher turned rapper Casey Bailey is a poet, author, writer, spoken word performer, song writer and a secondary school senior leader from Birmingham. He runs Bailey’s Rap and Poetry (BRAP), and through this initiative has performed and spoken at events in the UK, as well as run workshops in rap, poetry, music and song writing.
