Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow has never “turned down any of the proposed formats, including the expansion of the Normandy format,” making a comment on Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenskiy’s proposal to meet in Minsk, speaking at a press conference after bilateral talks with Bolivian President Evo Morales in Moscow on Thursday.

“We have never turned down contact, if they are beneficial,” Russian leader added.

Putin also said that he discussed Venezuelan crisis with his Bolivian counterpart and expressed hope that “the situation in the country will be normalised,” as a result of negotiations between the government and opposition, launched thanks to Norway’s mediation.

Bolivian President Evo Morales mentioned that bilateral agreements and memoranda signed with Russia will “fulfil the wishes and dreams of so many Bolivian people.”
