Russia: Russian side ‘have enough to win tonight’ says Jose Mourinho

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says he believes Russia have what it takes to win the opening match of the 2018 World Cup against Saudi Arabia later on Thursday.

Commenting on his expectations of the Russian team, Mourinho said “I expect to see a team very focused, aggressive in the right way, in the positive way.”

“And they have enough to score, to get three points, which is fundamental to them,” he stated; adding that he thinks Russia have enough to get to the knockout phase of the tournament.

The Portuguese coach was speaking as RT’s special guest host at the World Cup from atop a hotel rooftop in Moscow.

The World Cup will be held in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15, with a total of 32 teams competing for the trophy.
