The founder of an online cannabis delivery service called ‘JustHemp’ explained the concept behind his business in Rome on Tuesday.
Francesco Garassino said the idea was inspired by online food delivery services such as ‘JustEat’, adding that his clients have an average age between 25 and 35.
“People have to go to our website, justhemp.it, and select a preferred product from the menu, then proceed with the registration,” Garassino said, highlighting its simplicity.
He also said that the products feature designs drawn by famous Italian artists as a bonus.
‘Light marijuana’ became an officially regulated product on May 23 after it was passed into law by the Ministry of Agriculture. The only requirement to sell it is that it must not to exceed 0.6 percent of the active ingredient, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
