Sri Lankans continued to attend funerals for their loved ones in Colombo on Wednesday, three days after eight explosions killed hundreds in churches and hotels across the country on Sunday.

At least 359 people were killed and a further 500 were injured on Sunday, during the Easter weekend, when eight seemingly coordinated explosions rocked the Asian country, with hotels and churches in both Colombo and two other cities being targeted.
A Sri Lankan government spokesperson admitted during a press conference in Colombo on Monday that there had been warnings from intelligence agencies about possible attacks on Christian targets in the country.
