Thousands of Tunisian football fans watched their side beat Madagascar 3-0 in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations at a public viewing in the capital Tunis on Thursday.
Fans were seen singing, cheering and waving Tunisian flags. Attention now turns towards Sunday’s semi-final against Senegal, with one fan describing it as “the most important match” of Tunisia’s tournament so far.
The 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, a biennial international men’s football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football, is being hosted by Egypt.
