British Home Secretary Amber Rudd chaired a meeting of British Government’s emergency response committee (COBRA) at 10 Downing Street in London on Tuesday, to address the latest developments in the investigation into the former Russian spy Sergei Skripal’s poisoning with a nerve agent.
This was the second COBRA meeting in the last four days.
High-ranking British officials including UK Prime Minister Theresa May and British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson were also in attendance.
The meeting comes one day after May accused Russia of probable involvement in the Salisbury nerve agent attack.
