Terence Crawford and Amir Khan both made weight on Friday in front of a boisterous crowd in Madison Square Gardens.
British boxer Khan (33-4, 20 KOs) will take a sleight weight advantage into Sunday night’s bout at the legendary New York venue. He weighed in at 146.6lbs (66.5kg) versus the American’s 146.4lbs (66.4kg).
The odds seem stacked against the ageing 2004 Olympic silver medallist, with Crawford (34-0, 25 KOs) undefeated across three weight divisions.
The WBO welterweight world champion can also count on the support of the home crowd.
