George Floyd’s brother, Terrence Floyd, paid a visit to the site of his brother’s arrest and death in Minneapolis on Monday, urging people to stop looting.

Addressing those who gathered at the makeshift memorial, he encouraged them to “do this another way” use their vote. “Let’s stop thinking that our voice don’t matter,” he said, ahead of leading chants and singing his sibling’s name.

Protests and demonstrations have taken place in several cities in reaction to Floyd’s death, with riots and looting also occurring in some areas, including Minneapolis.

Four officers involved in the incident have since been fired. The officer who knelt on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter on Friday.
