Residents of the Macarao neighbourhood in Venezuela’s capital of Caracas received clean water through a tanker on Tuesday, in an operation organised by the local mayor and the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela.

The working-class neighbourhood was left without electricity and running water for days following the huge power outage that occurred in Venezuela on Thursday, March 7.

Much of the country was left without power, with the electricity erratic over the last few days couple of days.
