Cracks appear in NATO as Trump slams Macron

Cracks are appearing in the world’s biggest alliance, NATO.
World leaders are in London for the 70th anniversary of NATO … and divisions among the nations are becoming clear.
Just hours after jetting in, US president Donald Trump said comments by his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that NATO was “brain dead”… were “nasty” and “insulting”.
But later Trump described Macron and France as “helpful” in fighting ISIL.
Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to block NATO plans to protect Poland and the Baltic states unless others agree with him on Syria.
