Germany: Three thousand evacuated as WWII bomb defused near Berlin

Over 3,000 inhabitants of Hennigsdorf, a town located just outside Berlin, were evacuated as experts defused a 125 kg (276 pound) bomb dating from World War II, Thursday. Public transportation was suspended and roads in the neighbourhood closed for several hours as bomb disposal squads got to work.
