LIVE: Lavrov and Iran’s Zarif hold joint press conference (ENGLISH)

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif hold joint press conference following bilateral talks in Moscow on Tuesday, January 26.

The ministers are expected to discuss the current developments in the Persian Gulf zone, Syria, Afghanistan and Nagorno-Karabakh. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement on Iran’s nuclear programme, and trade and economic relations in the field of transport and energy are also expected to be on the agenda.
