Mandatory Credit: World Economic Forum
German Chancellor Angela Merkel is giving a speech on the second day of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Davos Agenda virtual event on Tuesday, January 26.
World leaders will convene for a week of virtual meetings under the theme “Crucial Year to Rebuild Trust”. This year the sessions will focus on COVID-19 vaccination programmes, job creation and climate change.
The 51st Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum, previously set to take place this week in Davos, was rescheduled to the summer due to the pandemic and replaced by the virtual event to be held on January 25-29.
