Sudan politics: Bashir’s grip on power still strong

Sudan’s president Omar Al Bashir is the only head of state wanted by the International Criminal Court.

Accused of genocide and war crimes, he was almost arrested during a recent trip to South Africa.

But as Al Jazeera’s Abdullah Elshamy reports from Khartoum, Bashir is also facing challenges at home.
