Footballer Mesut Ozil attended his first training session with Fenerbahce at the Istanbul club’s Can Bartu facilities on Sunday, after bidding farewell to Arsenal and completing his move to Turkey.
The players warmed up and played together, guided by Fenerbahce’s head coach Erol Bulut, welcoming the 32-year-old in their first training session together.
The German born 32-year-old, who had not played for Arsenal since March, had touched down in Turkey last Sunday. The former Germany midfielder of Turkish descent was not included in Arsenal’s Premier League and Europa League squads for the season.
He now completed his permanent move to Turkey and is available to play for Fenerbahce, who are third in the Turkish Super Lig.
