Wax work statues by a Brazilian sculptor have gone viral on social media due to their total lack of resemblance to the world’s most celebrated stars.
Users on social media have recently unearthed videos of the sculptures filmed at an exhibition 6 years ago. The wax works sculptures have had many chuckles, and was dubbed a ‘Brazilian horror story’ by one twitter user.
The museum includes a variety of sculptures of famous figures from Marilyn Monroe to Michael Jackson, as seen in Rolandia, on Thursday.
Sculptor Arlindo Armacollo appeared indifferent to the internet reviews, and even stated that he would “invite critics to come and look closely.”
“There’s no need to apologise. Just look at it and make your conclusion,” he added.
